Smiling Children

I am pleased to report that the Smiling Children Foundation continues to expand its portfolio of projects. In 2008, we supported and developed 5 new projects in Morocco, Israel and the West Bank. Mainly focussing on empowering women to enable them to attain financial independence, these projects encourage young girls and women from minority groups to gain access to education, training and employment.

During our third charity evening in January 2010, we collected 1,4 million Swiss francs thanks to our generous donors. With this funds, we were able to finance during 2 years our projects in favour of 7300 girls and women and to provide them hope of a better future.

I wish to thank all our committee members, the Bertarelli foundation and all our contributors and sponsors for their generosity and support, which enables to foundation Smiling Children to pursue the development of its projects since its creation in 2005

The onus is on us now to mark tangible progress for women and their communities in some of the most remote places on earth.

We are ready to take on the challenge.
